The existing site was several years old and outdated. The design did not reflect the brand of the organization, which had been updated more recently. The client needed a newly redesigned site which reflected the brand.

Greg Voisen, creator and host of Inside Personal Growth, is an author, creative consultant, and thought leader in the human potential movement. Inside Personal Growth was born out of Greg’s passion for personal growth and mastery. He continually strives to improve his own life – spiritually, emotionally, and physically – as he learns from the hundreds of authors interviewed on this website.

Greg’s professional journey began with a career in insurance sales and financial planning, during which he found himself coaching clients to feel emotionally secure while making major life investments. For the past 30 years, Greg has been honing his skills in business consulting, finance, and psychology.

Inside Personal Growth is one of many ways Greg connects people for the greater good. It is his professional mission to inspire insights and innovation that facilitates breakthroughs in the individuals and the collective consciousnesses to evolve the way people connect in life and business.

The client

The challenge

The existing site was several years old and outdated. It needed new photos and copy. The design did not reflect the brand of the organization, which had been updated more recently. The client needed a newly redesigned site which reflected. In addition, the client, being a small non-profit, had a limited budget. I decided to spend more time than the budget warranted, in order to contribute to the organization’s efforts.

The outcome

The design is based on the organization’s brochure, but much improved upon. The site now has a large hero section, which takes up the viewport. In addition, the call-to-action is clearer with several locations. 

Home page

The large hero section uses an image of a homeless child to evoke empathy. The value proposition concisely conveys the benefit. The video introduces us to Greg Voisen, his podcast and homeless project. The bright blue call-to-action button stand out on the page. 

The deep blue background and circled photo with goldenrod borders is consistent with the branding established in the logo and brochure.

This section establishes the relationship between Greg’s podcast and homeless project. Icons are used to help offset the copy, while complementing photos. 

Testimonial for social flexing. The deep blue background offers contrast to the light background used in adjacent sections.

The style, here, follows the same used in the section above the testimonial, but with columns instead of rows.

Flex impact

The video helps explain ACE’s and toxic stress, designed to help educate viewers, while holding their attention. The call-to-action takes them to the ACE test, where they can see and learn about their score result.
